Dear Kinderblast Parents,
We are excited to be able to provide the wonderful preschool experience that all of our students have been patiently waiting for. We know how important preschool is for the development of children, and have been working non-stop to put measures in place that will allow us to run safely and professionally through this
Because of the close contact within preschool community, and to mitigate risks, we are implementing the following procedures:
Any child who shows one or more symptom (cough, sore throat, fever, runny nose) will be asked to stay at home until they are 48 hours symptom free or have a negative Covid test.
We will continue to work closely with - and follow the most current guidelines established by - the California government, California CDC, federal officials and Marin County for best practices with regards to preventing, identifying and managing COVID-19.
We are significantly ramping up our hygiene protocols for cleaning and disinfecting on a school-wide scale.
Should the need arise, we will have on-site quarantine facilities available, along with adequate supervision until you can pick up your child.
We will continue to modify our programming as may be required by CDC and local guidelines.
As we know, COVID-19 will be with us for the foreseeable future. No matter what procedures and protocols are put in place, there is simply no way to guarantee that COVID-19 or any other pathogen or communicable disease will not enter our school. By the very nature of the personal interactions that take place in the preschool environment, there is always a risk of your child contracting COVID-19 or any other disease or infection. And again, we will do everything within our power to keep your children healthy and safe at all times.
As a parent of a student attending Kinderblast we need you to closely monitor the health of your child and other members of your household, looking for the following symptoms: :
Fever or Chills
Unexplained Muscle Aches
Loss of Sense of Smell or Taste
or Pink Eye.
If your child, or anyone in your household develops these symptoms or tests positive for Covid-19 you will need to notify our staff immediately. If your child or a member of your household becomes sick, your child may be asked to miss school, and you will not be refunded for the days missed.
We also ask that for the safety of our staff and other families, please follow the guidelines implemented by the county to keep everyone safe!
I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the points as described above.
